The Black Belt Course in Personal Effectiveness
Course information: Management development talks about personal growth and improved effectiveness, but the academic approach may not touch the key issues in the development of all individuals with in your organization.
This experiential training course has grown out of the fundamental attitudes of curiosity, experimentation and the desire to learn while having fun. The training provided is performance targeted and concentrates on the development and practise of skills rather than simply a presentation of concepts.
Is divided into six separate modules over 3 days. All modules are interrelated, and there will be constant 'cross referencing' as each module is developed.
The group will learn utilising the tools of Metaphor, Demonstration, Explanation and Guided Questioning.
As George Bernard Shaw once said "If you teach a man anything, he'll never learn. People learn by doing!"
Day one of the course will be tutor lead, and will focus upon the individual, his or her personal effectiveness and how that can improve.
Day two will be tutor and delegate lead, focusing upon the effectiveness of teams, how to motivate team members and how to develop effective communication with-in your team.
Ending with day three which will be delegate lead, here the focus is placed on the effectiveness of the whole organisation and how the delegates can facilitate lasting improvements.
During the three days delegates will be introduced to the most advanced techniques of facilitation ensuring maximum information retention and overall training effectiveness.
